TO : All Employees

The Department of Labor and Employment legislated a premium payable to employees when they have a rostered day off during a public holiday. The Holiday Pay Compensation is applicable to all Call Center Agents.

It has come to our attention that due to the changeover of our payroll processing from twice monthly to every two weeks in June 2009, most employees were compensated accordingly; however, some employees may not have been paid the appropriate Holiday Pay Compensation. There are efforts currently underway to review all of the staff attendance records and payroll activities dating back to June 2009 when we did the payroll changeover. We hope to complete this exercise within a week!

We acknowledge that this oversight has created some inconvenience to some of you and therefore steps are already being taken to correct the situation and pay all of the affected employees immediately.

On completion of the reconciliation we plan to process the payments through our normal payroll run next week, failing this, a special payroll will be run within 10 working days.

(Name of Company) is a responsible organization and that adheres to all of the Philippine Labor Laws. This incident is strictly and unfortunate oversight and we are working diligently to correct this by expedite payments immediately. Please know our employees are important to us, and for those employees affected by this oversight, we want to extend our sincere apologies and assure you that we are working diligently to complete this exercise.

Okay, so where do is stand here?  Does this mean that i would be expecting for a bigger amount on my bank account next week? Hmmm.... i hope i will.. i need them..  i badly need them..

Anyways, there has been a rumor about employees who emailed someone and thus this was brought up. I dont need to mention names.
