Minus the Virtual World for a Week

It has been a week when I isolated myself from the virtual world and all I can say is that its worth the chance to live like how I dealt with the day. One week and all I did was bore myself with DVD marathon and music tripping.



I am on my “nth” time watching those Disney Classic fairy-tales-turned-movies. Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel (of which was changed to “Tangled”), Anastacia, Sleeping beauty (Aurora, now I can’t forget Sleeping Beauty’s name), The Little Mermaid and some Pixar and Dreamworks cartoon themed movies.



Gees! I can almost memorize the episodes of Glee Season 1 and memorize the lines on “Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks starrer “You’ve Got Mail”. That’s how bored I was when I decided to put the virtual world out of my senses first.



Well, aside from watching movies on DVD and listening to music, I indulged myself on picking up some good read on my shelf. The Little Princess is the book that I am currently reading. Was about to start again Tuesdays with Morrie but I don’t want teary eyed after I read the book. Though I might have already read it but I can’t help myself to grab it still in the future. In the meantime, I am allowing my hands to grab the Princess Sara book.



Just this day, I started to coddle myself with the virtual world thus blogging is what I first think of. No use co’z my fingers typed www.facebook.com first. Gees! Silly fingers!



Anyways, another month will soon pass and we are on the Love month in the next 1 day. Pretty thinking of what to do though. I don’t have any idea yet on how I would spend that special day.

Reminiscing Code Red: What Good is a Heart?

My taste of music is always changing every now adn then. I call myself a musically inclined person since i started singing and listening to songs around the elementary years. Geez.. That was too long ago and I can't even remember what was my fave song by then co'z I was to inclined with OPM (Original Philippine Music) such as those songs of Sheryl Cruz, Timmy Cruz, Tina Paner, Smokey Mountain, Janet Arnaiz etc. Few of you might have not heard of their songs yet but I could say that sometimes during that era, it was so good to my ears.

Anyways, its about Code Red though that I want to reminisce this time. I jsut so happen to browse http://www.youtube.com/ and found this one fave song from them, "What Good is a Heart" and I just want to share this reminisicing to everybody.



Gees. I remember me and my friends dancing along with the steps in the video. That was wayback high school then.

haven't heard of Code Red now. The last time I heard about them is that they both ahve their lives to live.

Ne-yo's "In The Way; or humming those old hopeless romantic songs

For the last couple of days, my eardrums were stuck listening with this song from Ne-yo (In the way). This was actually a part of his "Year of the Gentleman" album, released on September 2008, in which was a bonus track along with So Sick, Because of You and Sexy Love (the 3 mentioned have made its way to the music biz).

It is always important to me that the first notes or the opening tune of the song would capture my ears co'z that is the time that i need listen deeply to the song. After that, needless of who sang it, if the over-all melody is good that would be a worth listening to me. And lastly, i need to know what is the message of the song. 

Sometimes I call myself a hopeless romantic who falls for songs that has brokenhearted themes. And most of the times, my playlist are more about longing, hoping and dreaming such that I sometimes consider myself a loner.

Juris occupied a man's thoughts

Its weird but cool. Im bound to boredom when i decided to get myself some fag in the neighboring store. When i passed by this 2 guys, whom i dont know, one was humming a song without a lyrics and it puzzled me coz i know in me that i have the idea of what was he humming.

its 6:30 in the morning. Black out due to power supply was cut in one electricity pole nearby our area. and i heard it would be back by the afternoon.

I got a fag and sipped some on my way back to my pad and i passed by this 2 guys again. now the humming was gone but the guy had sung the song already with the lyrics. I know it. Its Juris' "Di Lang Ikaw" song and it brought a smile inside me.

How will i not? this guys is singing a girl song in a girl tone with a big body. Weird but cool.

I started to sing along with this song in my mind and was never erased until i decided to post a blog for it. so her goes the song.

Another boring rest day so i decided to download songs and tried to browse more artist. Well, i stopped on a website that caters OPM (Original Pilipino Music) artist and songs, www.tristancafe.com/music. AS i browsed and scanned the subjects and info in each page, Sharon Cuneta's name appear on my thoughts thus trying to look for a song way back that reminds me of my Ate and her friends. SHe likes this song and she influenced me to like this song despite of the bitterness inside the song. UNtil now this will always be one good song that i could listen to and some other Sharon's song.

If you happen to say that you are not familiar with the song, well maybe there really is an age gap between me and you. I mean, i am more older than you and i have heard this song i guess when i was still on my elementary year.

 dahil sa sobrang boredome, inip at pagsosolo sa apartment, walang ibang pumasok sa isip ko kundi magvideo video at magkanta kantahan ala singer talag with feelings and emotion... hahahha... natutuwa ko sa sarili ko dito.. am pangit ng boses ko, ang dilim ng video at di maganda ang ansa video...
