Why I am So Hooked Up with "GLEE"

I have counted down the various reasons why I'm so hooked up with the current dominating musical show on TV, "GLEE". I hope it ain't a surprise when I say that I have been born to love music and watch musical shows. It runs in my blood though. My parents are good with singing and they too are musically inclined. They have always been a role model to me ever since.Well, not just my parents but as well as my kins. I would say, we are a clan of singer-wanna-be's. And, well its just the way it is.

Now, lets go back to the main biz. GLEE has been one phenomenal sitcom that has captured the whole of me. Its music, characters and episodes will always have me dig the internet for those songs they are playing. Alas! Thanks to the this great technology innovation that I could look them up easily.

I have made my own list of reasons tough why I liked "GLEE" so much.

1. I love how they play with their characters. A variety of people with various characteristics comprising a Glee Club is so unusual but they did it well.

2. I love how Brittany (Heather Morris) play dumb and she really is one person I always look forward to whenever she delivers a line co'z I know it would always be a punchline even if she has that innocent looking and face. I just love Heather doing the character. It is only her that I was able to get the idea that ADULTERY is all about being stupid as an adult. I got a lot of laugh on that.

3. The protagonist/antagonist approach of Santana is so realistic. This Latina (I hope she is) bitch will really have you wanted to screw her neck whenever she plays her role and whenever she screams fight to any other character. Watching her doing it is such a reel. Plus, she is hot and I love her when she plays the playful Santana trying to play with boys.

4. Combining winners and losers in one team is a total disaster in which only in Glee caters this type of Group. The cheerleaders, the football players and jocks down to an handicap-able man on wheel chair, they are in one team, THE GLEE CLUB of McKinley High.

5. They cater variety of music. They just don't stop with the latest but they did down the albums of dead people and trying to give it a new taste to the new generation to fit in and look back on yesterdays kind of music, plus, the fact that they also cater almost types of music genres, its a good watch and listen show. Knowing the fact that I wasn't born on the 50s or the 60's not even the 70s but I can hear them singing songs older than me and I'm glad to hear it these people. It gives my song vocabulary and additional list of songs.

6. Dianna Agron (Glee's Quinn) is so hot that I am not wondering why she was the head cheerleader, Fin's ex, Puck's child and Sam's new love. Her bitchy approach sometimes can always make her on top but I always love her whenever she plays an angel and talks softly and friendly. I just love her.

7. Gender is not an issue to be a part of the group and diversity is not an issue as well but not if Kwarovski would kiss Kurt again. LOL. Kurt is one typical happy people that just wanted to see his nature in a crowd which he found in Glee and I love it when they embraced Kurt in the group not as a gay but someone who is one of them sharing the same passion in the arts of music.

127 Hours (Aaron Ralston's Story)

Its 6:20 in the morning and its more than 18 hours that I am wide awake. After my 12 midnight end shift work, I always tend to get my self busy with things co'z I know my eyes would not collapse yet the moment I come home.

I just finished watching 127 Hours which starred one great actor, James Franco. From the words of my friends mouth, its a good watch thus I was so curious and wanted to have a peak.

The story was actually based on reality. This were all experiences of Aaron Ralston on his adventure to the Great Canyon (don't know exactly which state was it in the US but I know its one God's great grandeur.)

These experiences have put some realization to Ralston's life. Only when the worst case scenario came that he have thought he has been selfish and has been so happy-go-lucky without even knowing that he has already neglected his duty as a son, a friend, a lover and as an individual.

Sometimes we would all feel the same way as Ralston. We forget our responsibilities and more often we would always think of things selfishly. (Im guilty!). Most of the times, it is only during the darkest hours of our life that we would realize how stupid we are for not even thinking of what might other people say and do and what might we have listened to that would be a good way to weigh things.

If we are in Ralston's situation, cutting his arms would have been our only escape from that rock. We are helpless and we can't find someone to pull up the rock and get our arms freed from being stuck. The reality is that it is during those time that we can then appreciate the fact that we have people around us who can help and lift us up. Thus, it is always important for every individual to learn from their mistakes and continue life despite of what had already happened.

After Ralston's escape from the rock, reality hugged him and thus still living the way he was but now along with a partner.

No man is an island. None can gain confidence if no one appreciates those little and simple things you do. It is always important to follow one rule of the thumb: "Don't let yourself be fooled by your own. Second opinion always helps thus live not alone and be a listener, a friend or a lover. A son, brother or a group member. After all, it is always rewarding to see people smiling at you because you are important to them.

For the movie alone, its one great eye opener for people who are bounded by his mind and his own. Open up and see things not just by the way how you see it and let the people around you tell them how they see it and weight it.

A must see movie!

My Sister's Triumph: UPCAT Results, PASSED!!!!

UPCAT 2011 Result (partially taken)
It is always surprising to see your sister's name passing some sort of exam. Being in UP (University of the Philippines) is one great dream that I know I tried to reach or just passing their assessment exam is one great deal to start a career. I know i have wasted so much time dreaming to be one of the students in UP but now that there is someone who could fulfill that dream, I guess I am more than happy of what I have dreamt of.

Riza Marie Ambe Erezo - Student number - 2011 -39242 passing the exam is a great news to start the year. That is my sister. Our dear little sister whom we are counting on to fulfill each family member's dream. A little, petite and bright girl who we see have took all the genes from us. LOL!

I am sad though co'z she choose to stay in the Tacloban Campus. We have relatives in their but I assume that we never have met them yet. At least a bunch of them. My mom's side is from Tacloban and Leyte and we are hoping that things will work out for my sister if she still choose to be with UP.

Wherever my father is right now, I know she is too proud of his favorite daughter.

This is for our TATAY!

ANN WARD; My Type of Girl ^_^

Damn this girl. The last time I saw her was when she was awarded as ANTM's Cycle 15 Winner. Something in here is unexplainable. And I mean her natural beauty especially when the flicks of the camera starts. Gosh! I wonder what she is doing right now after the reality model search by Tyra Banks.

Just reading something from http://www.wetpaint.com/americas-next-top-model/cast/ann made me realize that in some ways, we do share something in common. Playing RPGs, watching animes.

Hmm.. she really was an interesting girl. Weird as they would say but she doesn't look weird to me instead a unique beauty. My Type of Girl.

The picture above was captioned sample shots for Vogue Italia. Hmm.. She is really pretty.. <3

The Girls In My Life (part1)

Ever wonder who are the girls who completed my life? Basically, they are those who gave me the reason to live. These are the girls who gave me the exact opposite of happiness, sadness, tears, joys, nights, days. I love these girls as much as they love me. I love these girls as much as they love their partners. And most of all, I love them co'z they are the only group I call my biological family; my Mom and my sisters

Maymay is our "bunso" and will always be our "bunso" even if time change her physically. She will always be our little brat (smiles) but despite of those tantrums we always believe that she can cope with it as she grows and become a woman. Hmm. I am certain that sooner this lil sister of ours will make it big with her academics. Just recently, she messaged me telling that she is one of the top ten (again ) in the class placing at sixth. No wonder where she got those brains. It runs in our blood.

This little sister has made it to the highest recognition anyone from the family have gotten. If you try to Google her name, it will always be paired with PGMA. Why? Her academic excellence was recognized by the ex-president Arroyo when they, together with her classmates in elementary, topped the i-dont-know-whats-it-called-exam and they were invited to the Malacañang Palace (i guess). I was suppose to be there but time did not allow me.

Our family is proud of this petite but bright girl co'z she has the future of a good child and a good sister and a good daughter.

I love Maymay. One of the girl who made my life complete.

She currently is a fourth year high school student and soon will enter college. As of this time, this is the only thing i saw in the internet. This is her score in the Mindanao State University - Marawi Campus College Entrance Exam. We are yet to know if she pass or not. If she did, that would be a bliss.

A Salute To A Filipino Hero, ANDRES BONIFACIO

Andres Bonifacio
Decades ago, when the Philippines was still under the hands of some foreign lands, a group of people immerged to fight for the Philippine' freedom. It was so hard that these groups should be stealth from the governing country. Our forefathers has been on greater heights of thinking on how to gain this liberty from Caucasians and Asians who wanted to dominate us , our country, our land. But our brave race were never born to be oppressed thus fighters are we Filipinos.

Despite of the ups and downs of these battles against the other countries migrating in our land, we are now free from the bondages of the oppressors and we are now living a democratic life in this country called The Philippines.

THank you to our great great forefathers who runned, fight and died for this Pearl of the Orient. And as traditions go, we salute one of those forefathers whom we owe our freedom, Andres Bonifacio.

Born on this day, November 30, 1863 in Tondo, Manila, Ka Andres is the eldest of the 6 siblings born to Santiago Bonifacio and Catalina de Castro

His noble job of defending the country was enormous as this has been a part of our history. Without him leading the KKK - Kataastaasang kagalanggalangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan ("Highest and Most Respected Society of the Children of the Country"), Jose Rizal and the other Filipino freedom fighting groups will nto be able to pursue the seek for our own freedom in this land.

Andres Bonifacio is one great hero that every Filipino is looking upon. He was the symbol of strength and a fighter and he will always be one great Filipino citizen who died for the sake of our land.

This day is his 147th year of birth. Sadly, he has gone but with pride as the freedom of the Philippines is one of his greatest legacy that we are always looking back.

Ka Andres, Salamat!

Mary Magdalene, Dan Brown, Christianity; or a Question of Faith?

If history is right, then everybody is living a Christian life with a lie. I guess this is what the Da Vinci Code is all about.

I have seen the movie few times with Tom Hanks starred as the symbologist Robert Langdon. I would say that the movie itself reflects a big question about Christianity. But, this has been so open to me now since I started to read the book. I pity myself for not having Dan Brown's sense of thinking or experience. I wonder how did he knew all about this? How did he knew the places, dates and persons involved? I know thorough research, visiting the places and knowing the people were mostly the thing that Brown did to complete his book.

What really caught my attention about these movie and book is the fact or fiction about Mary Magdalene playing a great role that may change our point of view in living a Christian life and believing that Jesus Christ is the sole saviour we have who propagated Christianity in the whole world.

History tells us that Jesus and Mary's acquaintance started when Mary washed Jesus' feet and wiped it with her hair. Every bible tells this lore and we believe that this is what had happened. Aside from this, she was the first woman dubbed as the prostitute as far as i know. Reality though is far from this story as told by the keepers of the Holy Grail (Mary Magdalene). Mary Magdalene as foretold in the story is of a royal blood that her existence as Jesus' companion (its equal to spouse) needs to be hid. And so, Pagans started to change the story by building and coming up with ideas such as her being prostitute, she was just a part of the history of Jesus and his disciples but the fact is kept and as Brown's story goes, Magdalene is Jesus' wife and that she conceived Jesus Baby.

Mary Magdalene was not a big name for me until i read and understand Brown's book. Or shall I say that the movie itself, though might be fact or fiction, encouraged me to dig for reality about the existence of Mary Magdalene and Jesus Christ being together.

It might have been centuries ago when their story had happened but the fact that this has been one great topic to talk about as this concerns the whole world and every living Christian. We are bound to know the truth about this and we have the right to seek for some answers as this is a part of our existence as well.

Its not just that I have read the book by Dan Brown, Da Vinci Code or have watch the movie based on the book but I also have a DVD entitled "The Lost Tomb of Jesus Christ". In this medium, it tells us about Jesus' tomb and again, curiousity digs me when Mary Magdalene was mentioned again in this documentary. Mary Magdalene was Jesus' wife, they ahve a baby named Juda and that she was supposed to propagate te real Christianity.

Who is Mary Magdalene? Is she really is the one who Jesus has pass the right to propagate Christianity and the right doctrines of the religion? IS she really was Jesus's wife? Is she one of the Disciples? Is she the Holy Grail?

If reality arise that she is one divine woman whom we should have known the real religion, then this world has been living in a lie for centuries. A pity by then for our generation. Pagans should have known that truth always prevails if and only if REALITY about MARY MAGDALENE concludes.
